Jewish Faculty Network report claims CIJA promotes anti-Palestinian racism in Canada to protect Israel

Young Jews are among the most determined critics of Israel in Canada. That doesn’t mean they are protected from accusations of “antisemitism”. “Canadians are not antisemitic, but they are appalled by what the Jewish State of Israel is doing”, OFIP tells senate committee

OFIP was invited to appear before the Senate Standing Committe on Human Rights which is undertaking a study on the rise of antisemitism in Canada. We told the Senate that we think that fears over antisemitism are overblown. Canadians are not antisemitic. But 2/3 of Canadians think that what Israel – a Jewish State – is doing in Gaza is “morally outrageous”. Canadian opinion continues to turn against Israel: Angus Reid Institute

A recent survey by Angus Reid shows that Canadian public opinion is turning inexorably against Israel. Whether the question is on acknowledging the genocide in Gaza, on recognizing the Palestinian State, or whether Israel is deliberately starving the Palestinians, the trend is consistent.
