This week’s UN conference on the Question of Palestine, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, has been denounced by Israel and the USA but has been gladly received by the PLO and Mahmood Abbas. Many are concerned that the conference could divert attention away from the most urgent issue – how to stop the blockade and the genocide in Gaza.

Angry Trump demands the UN fire Francesca Albanese over her recent explosive report – why is he so angry about it?

The Trump administration has formally requested that the U.N. remove Francesca Albanese from her role as the special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, citing her “virulent antisemitism and support for terrorism”. Canada’s legal and moral obligations in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza were examined by a three person panel of experts assembled by the Ottawa Forum on Israel/Palestine on June 16th.
