Fourteen of the UN Security Council’s 15 members approved a motion to condemn US President Trump’s decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. The US vetoed the resolution and even went so far as to threaten other members of the council saying their act “would not be forgotten”. Shimon Fogel, CEO of CIJA, Canada’s largest pro-Israel lobby group, was disappointed he couldn’t get the Canadian government to support Trump’s move on Jerusalem. But in a conference call with over 1000 supporters, he outlined a plan “B” aimed at getting Canada to recognize the “special and unique relationship of Jews to Jerusalem”.
