JNF Canada lost its charitable status on August 10th and has appealed to Prime Minister Trudeau, saying it had been “blindsided”. But according to information from the Canada Revenue Agency, JNF has been misrepresenting itself for decades. Among other things, its famous “blue box” program was a “gimmick”. Read more….

On April 6, 2018, a tragic accident in Humboldt, Saskatchewan took the lives of 16 young people. All of Canada was shocked and in mourning. Six and a half years later, the survivors and their families struggle to live with the physical and emotional consequences. CIJA, B’nai Brith and some other pro-Israel organizations have called CUPE Ontario president Fred Hahn antisemitic because he re-posted a satirical cartoon critical of Israel. Ontario Premier Doug Ford is even pressuring CUPE’s National Executive Board to dump him. But Hahn is fighting back and gaining support among CUPE members. Watch the video and see what you think. In a letter sent August 13th to Prime Minister Trudeau, Reverend Michael Blair, General Secretary of the United Church of Canada calls on Trudeau to “to suspend relations with the State of Israel until it has complied with the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ)“.
