Most Canadians think it’s “reasonable” to boycott Israel: survey

A few months ago, the UN security council unanimously condemned ALL of Israel’s settlements in the West Bank (including in East Jerusalem) as flagrant violations of international law. So far Canada has done nothing about it. But a new survey shows that Canadians think Canada should apply sanctions on Israel. Read more.

Canada’s new Minister of Global Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, has finally spoken out about Israel – well sort of. Despite many recent Israeli violations of Palestinian human rights both in the occupied territories and inside Israel itself, a recent announcement seems to show her main preoccupation lies with promoting an increasingly improbable two state solution. Green Party of Canada ratifies motion to increase pressure on Israel
