Amina Elghabawi, Canada’s Special Representative for Combatting Islamophobia, has written a letter to all Canadian University presidents reminding them of their duty to protect free speech. “The right to a “safe space” does not mean that others are not allowed to express views or opinions on issues that someone may disagree with“, she wrote.
