The United Network for Justice and Peace in Palestine/Israel (UNJPPI) is offering Canadians access to a series of nine hour long talks beginning January 15th on the history of Palestine/Israel. See our short interview with course leader Philip Sherwood.
The course is composed of a series of 9 illustrated talks that traces Zionist / Israeli efforts to occupy historic Palestine, dispossess the Palestinian inhabitants, and deny them fundamental human rights and self determination. Each session is 60 minutes followed by 30 minutes of Q/A and discussion. The talks are introductory and non-academic, and no prior knowledge of the history of Palestine / Israel is necessary.
They are sponsored by the United Network for Justice and Peace in Palestine/Israel (UNJPPI) a national organization of activists affiliated with the United Church of Canada.
