Canadian doctor Tarek Loubani shares his experiences at Nasser hospital in Gaza

Canadian doctor Tarek Loubani has several times been a featured guest of OFIP. A few days ago, he gave an inside report to the US news program Majority Report from Nasser hospital in Gaza, where he has been for the last three months. His demeanour is calm as always, but the story he tells is shocking. Watch the interview…

A view of part of the trashed Nasser Hospital.

An independent daily political news program based in the USA succeeded in snagging a live interview with Palestinian-Canadian emergency room physician, Dr. Tarek Loubani currently volunteering at Nasser hospital in Gaza.

The interview is conducted by Majority Report co-hosts Sam Seder and Emma Vigeland.

The interview covers the evidence and consequences of the extreme famine he sees as a doctor every day, conditions of work for the international volunteers, Israeli claims that Hamas is comandeering food supplies while letting others starve, and how Israel uses Palestinian gangs to undermine efforts of the Palestinian police to keep order under extreme pressure and shortages.

It’s a harrowing interview but helps Canadians understand the terror Israel is visiting on Palestinians in Gaza using, in part, Canadian weaponry.

Loubani is a Canadian hero. He last spoke to Ottawa Forum eight months go as he was heading back to Gaza.

LAST MINUTE. I caught up with him on August 27th just as he came off another draining shift. He left a short message to Canadians about what we can and should do to stop the genocide. See his message here.
